Lakeside Marina has been family owned and operated since 1993. Our marina is located on Cherokee Lake in east Tennessee. We are conveniently located on Hwy 25E, just minutes from Morristown and a short 30 minute drive from exit 407. Go on an adventure with one of our pontoon or kayak rentals. All motorized boat renters must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and credit card. Non-motorized renters must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and credit card.
All motorized boat renters are required to purchase rental insurance through Buoy Insurance.
Rental insurance costs between $10 and $15 per hour for daily rentals and $80 per day on overnight rentals.
Failure to provide proof of rental insurance on the day of your rental will result in a nonrefundable cancelation of your reservation.
Pontoon Boats- There will be a $500 damage deposit due on the day of your rental. A hold will be placed on your credit card at the time of your rental.
Kayaks- The damage deposit for kayaks is $100.00
If there is no damage upon return, the hold will be released from the card within 36 hours. The credit card on file must match the name of the driver’s license of the person renting the boat. No exceptions!
If the boat returns with mud and requires additional cleaning, there will be an additional $150 charge.
We provide all of the safety equipment needed. The only possible exception being the availability of life jackets for small children. We try to keep different sizes of children’s life jackets on hand but supplies are limited so we suggest bringing one for small children to ensure they have a perfect fit!
Nothing is allowed to be pulled behind our rentals.
Sadly, no furry first mates are allowed on rentals. While we love four-legged friends, some of our past “good boys” decided our boat seats were actually giant leather chew toys. To keep our fleet looking sharp and our repair bills low, we’ve had to implement a strictly humans-only policy for the boats.
However, your pups don’t have to miss out on all the fun! Your pets are more than welcome to hang out with you on our large outdoor patio. It’s the perfect spot for them to relax in the shade and enjoy the music. We even keep fresh bowls of ice water ready at all times for our favorite four-legged patrons, because we truly do love dogs, we just prefer our boat seats in one piece!
We know that the quality of the kayak has a large effect on your rental experience. That is why we rent Perception Tribe Kayaks. Our single kayaks are 11.5 ft and our tandem kayaks are 13.5 ft. The tandem kayaks are large enough for 2 adults and one small child.
The Tribe is known for its features such as cushioned seats with back support as well as its overall design that allows the vessels to track nicely without struggling to stay centered while paddling. This makes it more comfortable for longer periods of time on the water.
Gas, Tax and Gratuity are not included in the rental prices. The craft will leave with a full tank of gas. Upon return, it will be refilled so you will only be charged for the amount of gas you used.
No form of grill is allowed on the boat.
We have a 7 day cancelation policy.
RENTAL RAIN/WEATHER POLICY: A refund may be given in the event of heavy rain or stormy weather at the time of your rental. A refund WILL NOT be given for sprinkling, slow drizzle, or light rain. A refund will be pro-rated if you must return early due to heavy rainy/stormy weather. You must request any refund the day of your rental in person at our facility. We will not honor refund requests by e-mail or phone call. All refunds will be contingent upon owner’s approval.
